Figuring out what to say about myself and putting it in a presentable-yet-interesting order gets so tiring. I have so many ‘about me’ sections on the web, MySpace, Facebook, here. Because of that, I’m not going to put much effort into this.
My name is Cheryl and I am twenty-five. I was born on October 18 at 1:53 pm, a Tuesday. My birth date makes me a Libra and I’ve been told that I represent it well.
I grew up in Hernando, Mississippi, a small town south of Memphis. It isn’t that small anymore, but it’s still home. Being brought up there was kind of special to me because my Dad was raised there, too.
I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi, more popularly known as Ole Miss, with a Bachelors of Education in history and music.
Obviously I have an interest in history, but my more specific historical interests lie in American and African American history. Anything about the Greeks and Romans catch my attention, too. Most European history bores me though because it gets confusing, too many wars for me to remember.
In 2003 I got married; eight months later I became a military wife. Life since then has been pretty stressful. My husband has already been to Iraq once and is currently training to leave again in June. He has plans to make a career out of the Army, so this is something we’ll be used to.
I’m pathetically in love with my cat, Raynie, who’s been my love puss since 2004. He weighs 17 pounds and can be found in one windowsill or another. I also have a love bug, my chihuahua, Ladie, and two pit bulls named Joone and Judah.
